Thank you for your interest in the 2nd Shanghai International Deaf Film Festival (SHIDFF).

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, the 2nd SHIDFF, originally scheduled for September 2023, will be postponed to December 8th to 10th, where we will have the pleasure of meeting you in Shanghai.

In order to ensure the quality of this film festival and uphold our commitment to diversity, the organizing committee has decided to open the second round of submissions for the short film competition unit starting today. Detailed guidelines (including the follow-up plan for the first round of submissions) will be updated on the official website and various platforms on September 11th at 12:00 (Beijing time) for your reference.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the change in schedule and hope for your understanding. Please stay patient as we will warmly welcome you to a memorable event in the midst of winter with our utmost enthusiasm.
